The Whittlesea and Plenty Valley region offers some outstanding festivals and events including the long running Whittlesea Agricultural Show, the lively Whittlesea Country Music Festival, the City of Whittlesea Community Festival and the Whittlesea Art Show.

Australia Day Celebrations

Features: Kids entertainment includes free jumping castle, face painting and animal farm. This is also a great opportunity to welcome our new citizens and honour local citizens with the presentation of the annual Australia Day Awards. The night concludes with a spectacular fireworks finale. Bring your picnic basket or check out the local food vendors.

Celebrate family, togetherness, hope and the diversity of our City at this special time of the year. Carols by Candlelight features the fantastic community choir accompanied by the Diamond Valley Brass Band. Join in with the singing, enjoy the live nativity scene and the very special appearance of Santa. Children's activities include face painting, petting farm and art activity. Refreshments will be available for purchase on the night. Presented by the City of Whittlesea.

A free Twilight concert, with a great line up promising hours of entertainment, will be held at Walker Reserve from 5pm. This will be followed by a fireworks display at 9pm.
