This settlement in Bundoora features a number of attractions for all of the family. There is a heritage village where you can explore the past in detail. The visitor centre provides all the necessary information. The wildlife reserve is a great draw card for people of all ages where you can relax and take in your surroundings. A fantastic way to entertain the children is to take them to the urban farm.

With views of the Plenty River and the backdrop of the wooded Plenty Gorge, the Le Page historic homestead and art gallery are just many of the historic features of Hawkstowe Park. The homestead was built in the 1850's and is now surrounded by beautiful gardens. Below the homestead, the park also provides a look at our past with a heritage orchard boasting still a couple of the original fruit trees.

Ziebell's Farmhouse (1851) and the adjoining Thomastown Lutheran Church (1856) and Cemetery (1850) are landmark heritage sites which were constructed during the establishment of Victoria's first German settlement - Westgarthtown - in the mid 19th century.
Whittlesea Courthouse, Lock-up and Visitor Information Centre

Built in 1864, the restored Whittlesea Courthouse is surrounded by picnic facilities, scenic surroundings, provides local arts and crafts for sale and historical and visitor information at hand.
Yan Yean Reservoir Park

Yan Yean Reservoir Park is as popular now as it was 100 years ago. It features Melbourne's oldest dam, including the remnant stone water channel, blue stone valve house and caretaker's cottage built in 1853. The park offers barbeques both electric and wood fire, picnic tables, toilet facilities, rotundas, walking trails and shady areas. The park is great for the whole family.
